A “mondadeira”—commonly known as a woman who works in the fields weeding—is one of the traditional professions of our Alentejo region, and as such, this tribute could not go unnoticed. Produced from grapes grown on old vines, “Mondadeira Palhete” is a limited- Amphora Wine , whose label was designed as a tribute to the workers of the Alentejo.

It was vinified in September and kept in contact with the wine lees inside the talha until December, remaining in contact with the clay for a total of 4 months. After being removed from the wine lees, the wine was aged in used French oak barrels for 2 months. It is produced only in special vintages, alongside its siblings “Aguadeira Tinto” and “Pastor Branco.”
